Deals & Best Time to buy!!...💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

If you know me then you know that I'm a big bargain shopper! When I was younger I used to go thrifting as I loved trying out new trends and old classic trends as well. Like the big grandfather blazer paired with rolled up jeans &  a white tee...you get the gist. This is when I fell in love with fashion as I really able to try to transform clothing not meant for me but able to sew it and alter the pieces perfectly for me! 

My favorite memory is when I transformed  xxl bright red floral 🌷🌷 jumpsuit into a gorgeous blouse!! Yasss yall I was wearing that blouse PROUDLY all summer long!an

Okay so back to the deals and steals post since you know my history of bargain shopping.  So today I'm going to go over the best items to buy based on the month! As it's currently the beginning of the year I am going to post about the first quarter of the year and then do a followup for the remainder of the quarters. As I worked in retail for almost 4 years in college and high school at one of the major chains it not only renewed my interest in bargain shopping but also made it where I understood the true value of clothing as well.

As we all know certain items goes on sale during certain times of the year and it makes sense to set your buying habits around that trend so that you can get the best value for your money.
Without further ado I'm going over the top purchases to buy from January to March.

January:

1. Great for purchasing after Christmas sale items 🎄🎄
(Decorations,wrapping paper, Christmas tree, lights,Christmas decor)
Retailers: at Home, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, all Major Retailers

2. Boots
(TALL boots, Over the Knee boots, Designer boots need I say more!!)

Retailers: Francesecas, Maurices,DSW, Jcpenney, Nordstrom Rack

3. Linens Linens Linens

Have you ever heard of a white sale? This is an annual event where many retailers mark down linens. This is a great time to re-decorate your home as they are all on sale. I actually re-decorated my guest bedroom last month and saved over $700 at JCPenney buying new linens to get ready for the winter weather 
Retailers: JCPenney, TJMaxx, Kohls, Nordstrom, Macy's, Neiman Marcus

4. European Designer Lines
If you are a fan of any European fashion houses know that this is the best time to shop!
To get a even better bargain try the outlet stores of the big department stores.
Retailers: Saks off 5th, Nordstrom Rack, *Bloomingdales Outlet,*-got a pair of 7 for all mankind for $55once!!

5. Housewares
This is great if you have any extra giftcards to use towards skillet sets and quality pots and pans.
Retailers: JCP, Home Goods, Williams & Sonoma, Target

6. Winter Apparel
Scarves, jackets, gloves
I always thought this was weird that the jackets and winter coats went on clearance during the winter months but the later in the season and the earlier part of the season retailers have great sales!
Retailers: JCP, Macys, Nordstrom, Target, Francesecas, Wal-Mart

7. Last but not least are Unwanted giftcards
Have you ever gotten a giftcard to a retailer that you don't use but don't want it to gonto waste.  There are several websites that offer you the ability to sell them and if you are looking for a bargain that's a great website to check out as well!

February:

1. Chocolate 🍫
Need I say more! Wait til the day after Valentine's Day for 70% off chocolate at retailers! As long as you are okay with roses and hearts all over your chocolate!
Retailers: Dollar General, Wal-Mart, Traders Joes, Kroger, Sams Club  grocery stores have the best deals!
2. Cellphones
As tech companies are creating new models this is a good time to purchase an older model at a great price!
Retailers are the phone company,  bestbuy, Apple

3. TVs

This is one of the best months to buy a TV 
Retailers: Frye, Bestbuy, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, 

4. Homegoods
This is a great time to purchase home goods as well but may not be as great of a price compared to January.

5. Winter gearOne time in February a couple of years ago I purchase 10 cashmere high quality sweaters from JCP for less than $50!! Seriously I still have them in my closet today! So sometimes you have to look for those pieces!

March

1. Grills
Retailers offer great prices before the summer season starts and so you can purchase a great grill at a great price this month
Retailers: Sears, JCP, Kohls, Bestbuy, 

2. Golf Clubs
Golf Clubs are also summer purchases that ate discounted before the season! So if you golf March is the best season for this purchase.
Retailers: Academy, Dicks Sporting Goods, TGW

3.Luggage
The low prices is also in regards to preparation for summer!
Retailers: Nordstrom Rack, JcPenney, Macy's, major retailers
4. Frozen Food
This is seriously a thing and I actually do purchase frozen Lean Cuisines so I'm all in on these purchases. March is actually National Frozen Food month! Haha I cannot make this up!!
Retailers: Local grocery stores will offer discounts 

5. Digital Cameras
This is great news for all of the bloggers out there! As this is the best month to purchase!  I need a more advanced lens so I will be waiting til March to make that purchase.
Retailers: Bestbuy, Canon Website, Amazon
