Tuesday Shoesday- Getting your Feet Beach Ready 🏖

In honor of Tuesday Shoesday on the blog today I'm sharing my at home remedy to make your feet beach ready! I personally am all about self-care all the way down to my toes!

Ingredients:

Epsom Salt
Lavender Oil
Baking Soda
Lemon Juice
Vaseline
Cotton Socks
Pumice Stone
Saran Wrap

Steps:

1. Run a bath of hot water. It doesn't have to be super hot but warm enough to soak your feet.
2. Add the Epsom salt and lavender oil as well as the lemon juice and baking soda. Soak your feet for 10-25 minutes.
3. After removing your feet from soak use the pumice stone to slough off any dead skin. What a weird word to say.

4. Once you feel free of the dead skin I recommend putting Vasline on the soles of your feet and wherever you would like the soft feeling. For a added bonus you could saran wrap your feet in the Vaseline.

5. Then put on the socks!!
6. Go to sleep!!
7. Wake up with softer feet

Also as an added bonus you could always use this fantastic foot spa I got from Target.

It was only $5 and is a foot mask. You can use this step instead of the saran wrap option as it's a sock included and will be less messy!
Also I love to put Cocoa Butter on for a regular basis once I'm out of the shower so that my skin can soak up the lotion.
Shea Butter is a good option as well. U always worry about my skin looking moisturized as a kid I would sometimes have ashy ankles and elbows and now that is a no go!! 🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️ Haha!

Well hope y'all enjoyed my post about getting your little piggies ready for the beach! 🏖

Til next time,

Peace & Love,
Karen Beatty💕💕
