Makeup Essentials Beach Edition

Today on the blog sharing some of my favorite makeup essentials beach edition!!

I personally love going to the beach as long as the weather is just right and I am under an umbrella with a Pina colada and there is a nice light breeze! Doesn't that sound amazing and way too perfect??
But that's not how it usually goes so I have gathered up several of my favorite makeup essentials to get through a beach vacay even if it isn't picture perfect!

1.  Foundation with SPF- my personal favorite is the Estée Lauder Full Coverage Option I actually use everyday. It has a SPF of 15 and just a small bit goes a long way! It's pictured above and the link is here for purchase.

2. Lightweight Primer- my current newest fav is from Maybelline called Baby Skin. It makes my skin feel so soft and preps my skin for my makeup.

3. Lip Stain/ Lipgloss-I use this also as a normal part of my routine as so find lipsticks to be too heavy for me for daily wear. But lipsticks can easily be too heavy in the heat of the sun! So it's a great option to opt for a lip stain! Also be sure to use a good quality chapstick which can double as help with sunburn aid.

4. Blush- Soft Corals and Pink for any skin tone will give you a good rosy glow which is good with light weight foundation and coverage.

5. Bronzer/Illuminator- This can be used with just a foundation as well! The Becca bronzer and highlighter is great as it's a good pigment and won't require much for a great shine!!

6. Waterproof Mascara- This waterproof Option is great for when the sand and wind interact with the hot sweltering sun! Believe me you don't want those lashes leaving mid-day! I personally like L'Oréal False Fiber Lashes in waterproof!

7. Setting Spray-A lightweight spray to set your makeup and doesn't feel sticky is best! MAC has a has an amazing setting spray! As well as ELF has a good dupe that adds a small glow!
8. Blotting Paper- This one does not need a explanation! Believe me you will sweat I mean glow on the beach so blotting paper is good for an excess glow!!

9. Mirror & Bronzer Compact is perfect as well so you can check for any smudges and one that has a bronzer and eyeshadow is perfect! To shop the one above click here: Seriously can't get over how gorgeous this compact is 😍😍.

Also recommend as a bonus using a great moisturizer and sunscreen!
I'm currently loving Clinique's Moisture Surge. It comes in a lotion which is good for dry skin type and a gel for those with oily/combination skin.

Overall hope y'all like my tips and comment below some of your favorite makeup essentials for the beach if I have missed any of your favs!

Til next time,

Peace & Love,
Karen Beatty💕💕
