#TrainingThursday 👟

Today on the blog I am sharing my fitness journey so far! I have a modeling shoot this weekend and I don't think I have ever been as nervous to measuring up as I was for this one! The past couple of weeks was a little tough for me as I had gastritis which is inflammation of my stomach! So that took about 2 weeks to heal and so I was forced to rest. But what it made me realize even more is how much I really appreciate and love to workout! So once I could return to the gym I came back running no pun intended!
I even met up with a personal trainer and even dud one of those cool body scans to see my measurements and to make sure I can attain my fitness goals. The trainer even made a customized fitness plan just for me which takes into account my busy schedule.

So this past week was my week back and I focused on cardio and did a cleanse as well to make sure I am ready for the shoot on Saturday!

Also what I realized from this short term setback is how sensitive I can be concerning  changes in my body image. I never realized how much I took it for granted to be able to workout as I please and to be able to eat like I wanted.

This setback made me STOP and analyze all of my eating habits and even more so of my positive self talk as well!
Having to be intentional about my eating habits and also postively affirming that everything will work out and thay regardless of my weight I still feel beautiful and I still am ME!!
Positive affirmations can make a world of difference!
