Whats Your Ayurveda Type?

#WellnessPost

Hey yall! I recently came across a video by Lavendaire that talked about Ayurveda!

Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old system with natural healing that comes from the Vedic culture in India. According to Sahara Rose there are 3 different types of Doshas(Vata, Pitta and Kapha) For more information about the types defined by Rose read below:

Vata-The Creative- Cold, Dry and ever-moving like the Fall Wind
Pitta-The Driver- Hot & Fiery like the Summer Sun
Kapha-Calm/Good-Natured-Moist, Soothing and cold like the Spring

After taking the quiz which you can take by clicking here, I found out my results...
..... I'm a VATA in mind and body!
Which I believe is spot on it even mentioned my random bloating and sometimes insomnia!
Crazeee- since it was so spot on I had to share with yall!
I would love it if once you take the test you comment below your result!
Anywho after finding out my result, I have challenged myself to live a more healthy life by altering some of my current habits to increase balance!

1. Meditation

Yall I have been really increasing the amount of time I have been meditating and I feel so much better!  I can DEFINITELY tell a difference from when I have meditated and when I haven't! So many people say they are too busy to meditate and I personally can't afford not to meditate! The level of clarity that I experience during meditation has been soooo instrumental to my success and overall health! High-level CEO's and successful millionaires have actively supported meditation as a great business practice!
If you are a beginner in meditation check out this video for a quick 5-minute bell meditation!

2.  Staying Grounded

I personally have found that staying grounded is so instrumental to my overall mental and spiritual health! By spending time outside and walking around and spending time in nature! There is something about feeling the fresh air that refreshes my soul!
This makes sense since according to the

3. Eating a More Root Based Diet

This one surprised me as I have shifted to a more plant-based diet with lots of green veggies. But according to Ayurveda, I should be eating more warm meals with root veggies.
This habit I plan on implementing tomorrow!
For a list of Root Veggies click here! I had to look it up!

Bonus: Practice Oil Pulling Daily

They say your oral health is a great reflection of your overall health.
I personally have done this with coconut oil and it actually whitens your teeth while you do it! Basically, for 20 minutes, you swish around coconut or sesame oil in your mouth which pulls out toxins in your body and increases your overall health!

I seriously had so much fun researching Ayurveda and finding more ways to live a more balanced and impactful life!

Thank yall for stopping by!
til next time,
Peace & Love,
