So this happened this weekend!!!🎉🎉🎉 I am not able to express in words how surprised I was by Michael's ingenuity and stealthy skills to pull off the perfect engagement for me. I ruined the first two options of course and almost didn't open the room service door in time for him to unveil this special gift. Me and Michael have been on an amazing journey and I feel so blessed that we get such a special chance a second chance at this love thing lol. I've been crying for a couple days and just digesting it all. So excited for the future!!💗💗💗💗

This is from my post from Instagram and Facebook!  I have worked with many brides on picking out their dream ring and even more men picking it out for they're special lady but when it came my part I didn't think I would respond the way I did. A in tears B. Speechless C. Thought about my nails lol 😂😂😂

But oh how worth it the whole ordeal was. So when Michael proposed he had originally set it up where he would propose at Pete's Piano Bar which was about 5 minutes from our hotel and they would perform our song. But somehow someway I messed up the plans because I was enjoying myself at the wedding. Lol. I kept pushing back the time for leaving as I wanted to celebrate some of the key moments with my family. (The post recapping the wedding and Austin trip is coming up this week btw) so what ended up happening is that we didn't get back to the hotel til 9:50 and we needed to be there by 9:30. So he ended up improvising. He said  he needed a drink from the bar downstairs and so I ended up taking a nap not knowing what he was setting it up! 

So in order to cover his tracks he came back and told  met the bar was TOO full so he couldn't order( this should have been a clue) and so instead we ordered quesadillas. Not even 2 minutes later they arrived with the "cake" and that's when I knew lol something was up. And then he proposed!!! 💍💍💍

I was so shocked I couldn't speak and started crying! It was perfect as I like intimate moments and I am not so big into a big bar scene se for that time of occasion and so glad everything worked out the way it did ! 7 years later! We will be saying I do a second time 5 years after the first time we got married.

To me our love is very special and I keep it very close to heart. We are trying something very different that most people don't usually get a second chance to do. To marry their first love let alone marry a second time lol. Except for maybe Elizabeth Taylor.  But that's the thing that kept us going is that our love is based on a solid friendship and respect for each other that we definetly cherish so much!! 

Once again I am so excited for the year ahead and  going to enjoy and not take for granted any moments!!
